Family is at the foundation of all I do.
I’ve been married to Tony for 19 years. We met and married when I was in college. He’s an electrician now, but he used to be a fireman / EMT, and then a police officer.
Our daughter, Brianna, is 16 and will be a junior next year. Time flies so quickly — it seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital, but in a few years we’ll send her out into the world to make her own mark on the world!
I’m a lifelong learner.
From the traditional classroom to online courses, industry events to 1:1 training and mentorship — I never pass up an opportunity to learn something new!
I currently hold a B.A. in Communications / Journalism and an M.A.Ed with an emphasis in Adult Learners.
I hope to earn a doctorate in Marketing someday — then I’ll have to decide whether I’ll go by Doc Martin or Dr. J. :)
I can and will do almost everything you throw at me.
I used to joke that I’ll tackle any job EXCEPT for accounting — until one employer put me in charge of invoicing. Not doing that ever again!
In all seriousness though, I’m a fast learner. When I dive into a new industry, vertical, or realm of marketing, I absorb like a sponge and quickly become a go-to expert.
I value people over profits
While the end goal of any marketing team is to drive revenue, the people who work for and with me, and the people we serve (internally and externally) matter the most.
I build authentic relationships with my employees and coworkers, and I invest in the personal and professional development of my direct reports.
