Servant leader + developer of people
“Servant-leadership is all about making the goals clear and then rolling your sleeves up and doing whatever it takes to help people win. In that situation, they don’t work for you, you work for them.”
— Ken Blanchard
Building tomorrow’s leaders
I’m proudest of those I’ve invested in along the way.
It’s humbling to see how far others grow after you’ve played some part in their development. The impact on their careers, the organization, and the world are immeasurable.
A few of my proudest mentorship success stories »
I mentored three high school students through a church worship team. Watching them grow as vocalists was rewarding in itself, and since they’ve all grown into amazing adults — one is now a teacher and the other two both serve in full-time ministry!
I coached a graduate student intern and taught her how to manage a professional website and social media channels. She was able to step into my role when I moved on, and she now works in a similar capacity for a large insurance provider.
I hired an employee just a few years out of college for an intermediate-level position. I was blessed to help him grow his skills and impact from coordinator to strategist to manager in just a few years.
